The ITO interchangeable needles are made of dark "Koshitsu" bamboo. For the needles, only the best Japanese bamboo is selected and carefully processed to obtain a warm touch and smooth surface. The bamboo for the dark needles is stored for up to 10 years and additionally steamed. This makes the bamboo very hard and prevents warping which may occur when knitting with light bamboo needles due to the warmth of the hands, especially with smaller needle sizes. The needles are accurately manufactured on modern machines, hand polished and treated with wax for a refined surface. The ITO premium needles are manufactured sustainably in a traditional workshop in the prefecture of Nara.

Personalmente me gustan mucho. Muy cómodas y ligeras
Vengo de las Chiaogoo de metal y puedo decir que estas agujas de bambú me han conquistado. Las estoy usando con una lana merino y deslizan estupendamente, pero sin resbalar. Son muy cómodas y muy ligeras, y el conector se ajusta de fábula y no se desenrosca mientras estás tejiendo.
Las otras agujas de bambú que había probado son las Chiaogoo y estas no se quedan atrás. Tienen un tacto muy suave, la unión con el cable es perfecta y no pesan nada. No llevo demasiado con ellas, pero me parecen flexibles y bastantes resistentes. Me parecen una opción excelente para las personas que prefieran tejer con bambú o tengan problemas de alergias con las metálicas.
