Difference from other lines
1. Ultra-smooth transition (Seamless Join)
In Seeknit's conventional needles, although the joint is very good, there is a slight bump where the needle transitions from wood to metal and then to the cable. The Curve line completely redesigns this metal piece with a highly stylized cone. This makes the transition almost invisible to the touch, allowing the yarn to glide smoothly and without snagging.
2. Change from Brass to Stainless Steel
The connecting pieces and threads of Seeknit's classic needles are made of brass (gold plated). In the Curve range , the connectors are made of high-quality stainless steel . This not only gives them a more modern, silver appearance but also increases the durability of the threads and their resistance to wear.
3. Simplified threads (Fewer cables)
The traditional Seeknit system uses three different thread sizes depending on the needle thickness: M1.8, M2, and M4. The Curve range simplifies the system by eliminating the M4 thread.
· M1.8 thread: For fine needles (from 2.00 mm to 3.25 mm).
· M2 thread: For medium and thick needles (from 3.50 mm to 10.00 mm).
This means you no longer need to buy so many different types of cables, as the M2 cable covers almost all thick needles.
Compatibility note: If you already own Seeknit products, Curve needles and cables are fully compatible with classic Seeknit lines that share M1.8 and M2 threads.
